Jan. 28 (UPI) — The state of colorado Avalanche star center Nathan MacKinnon will miss much less than three games after mesmerizing a huge hit to or even head during Wednesday’s hobby against the Boston Bruins.
Avalanche head parent Jared Bednar told reporters Friday that MacKinnon suffered a facial rupture and concussion as a result of the entire collision, putting his availability for next week’s NHL All-Star Game in question. Within the ESPN , MacKinnon has a damaged nose.
MacKinnon was injured when he was leveled by Bruins forward Taylor Hall from a first period of the Avs’ 4-3 overtime win Wed night. Hall’s shoulder brought on MacKinnon’s stick to bounce back and as well strike him in the face.
