Feb. third (UPI) — For the second day inside row, Britain’s Royal Squadron scrambled Typhoon fighter jets on Thursday from a leading in Scotland after distinguishing foreign jets in what officials called an “area interesting. ”

The earliest on Wednesday occurred some hours after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned that a Russian invasion of Ukraine would be disastrous.

Thursday, the Royal Air Force scrambled Typhoon fighters from a base appearing in Scotland — after reps said jets were spotted in an “area appealing. ” Officials did not specify to which country to aircraft belonged.

An event earlier, the RAF screwed-up fighters to “intercept in addition to escort” four Russian Keep aircraft away from the area.

The Lossiemouth bottom in Moray is one on-line two RAF Quick Response Alert stations that secure British airspace. RAF Lossiemouth protects Britain’s northern airspace, and RAF Coningsby into the south.
