March 20 (UPI) — Phil Collins and his rock band Genesis played what they said was their final live show together in London this week.
Deadline. contendo reported he 71-year-old singer and former drummer, keyboardist Tony Banks and guitarist Mike Rutherford wrapped back up what was titled The Last Domino? Tour at the O2 Manege on Saturday night.
The string towards concerts started last October and was the band’s first excursion in 14 years.
The set list building last show included “Domino, ” “Turn It For, “Mama, ” “Home Main Sea, ” “Land including Confusion, ” “That’s Every one of, ” “Follow You, micron “Follow Me, ” “No Son of Mine, very well “No Son of My service, ” “Tonight, Tonight, Tonight” and Invisible Touch.
TMZ said Collins’ 20-year-old son, Nic, experienced the drums, while Collins, who has been battling health threats, sat in a chair while sang.
“Tonight is a very special night. Naturally , we’re playing in London. It’s the last stop of our head to, and it’s the last show meant for Genesis, ” Collins told the bulk , according to ETOnline.
“It’s difficult the to believe that you still shown up to see it. I guess when you finish tonight we’ve all got to get real jobs. ”
Genesis fabricated in 1967 with John p Gabriel as lead répéter. Collins joined the music as drummer and betting on vocalist in 1970, then took over as lead vocalist in 1975 when Gabriel left up to pursue a solo vocational.
