Feb. 14 (UPI) — A wombat living at your Japanese zoo was called the oldest wombat today in captivity by Guinness World Records after the species celebrated its 33rd unique.
The Hawaiian marsupial, named Wain, is officially dubbed the oldest ever before wombat in captivity during a ceremony Tuesday at the Satsukiyama Zoo located in Ikeda.

Zoo officials said these people marked Wain’s 33rd birthday in January.
Wain took usually the record from a male wombat that died at the age of thirty-two in 2017. Wombats living in captivity generally live that will be between 20 and more than 20 years old.
Usually the zoo said Wain financial debt good health, despite cataracts included in the animal’s eyes.
